We need only full faith in our spiritual master Srila Prabhupada

From the Prabhupada Connection "So this is the question of faith. This is the question of faith. And without faith, you cannot reach the kingdom of God. Your experimental knowledge, your so-called defective reasons and arguments and philosophy, that will not be applicable in the transcendental field. You have to believe. You are believing in every sphere of your life. When you purchase a ticket for transferring yourself in the aeroplane, if you go on arguing, 'Sir, I am purchasing ticket. Whether this aeroplane will reach? Whether it will not, I mean to say, crash on the way?' If you go on arguing, there is no question of, I mean to say, getting on the aeroplane. You have to believe that 'Aeroplane will take me to the other side.' You are doing that. There is no argument.

So similarly, you have to believe. We must have faith. And we see that many faithful, great acharyas and devotees of the Lord, they achieved success by this faith. Why shall I not follow them? Therefore the Vedic literature says that you have to follow the footprints of great acharyas. Acharya means great devotees who come to teach the people in general about God consciousness or Krishna consciousness. He is called acharya. He behaves in his life how? To think of Krishna and he teaches his students about that. He is called acharya. Acinoti sastrani...

He knows the purport of the scriptures, and he behaves in his life and he teaches his student in that way. He is called acharya." (Srila Prabhupada Lecture, New York, December 16, 1966) "That is his blessing. He wanted; I tried. That's all. Whatever is being done, it is by his desire.

Vaisnava sata sankalpa. Whatever he desires, that is to be fulfilled. Yasya deve para bhaktir yatha deve tatha gurau (SU 6.23). Therefore, full faith in guru, that is the prime factor of success. Not any other things, no qualification, no education, only staunch faith in guru. Yasya deve para bhaktir yatha deve tatha gurau. Yasya prasadad bhagavat-prasadah. This is the secret. So whatever little success is there, that was only this qualification, that I wanted to serve him. That's all. Otherwise, there was no business of coming here at the age of seventy years."

(Srila Prabhupada Conversation, Los Angeles, June 10, 1976)

Prabhupada: There is no question of becoming perfect. Try to become perfect. That is perfect.

Don't become… Remain always student and try to become perfect. That is wanted. Guru more murkha dekhi' karila sasana (CC Adi 7.71). We have to…

Devotee: That is what Rahugana, he asked Jada Bharata: 'How have you attained such a perfectional stage?'

Prabhupada: Rahuganaitat tapasa na yati na cejyaya nirvapanad… (SB 5.12.12) Devotee: That is our wonder, how Your Divine Grace has attained such a perfectional stage.

Devotee (2): The conclusion was that only by the dust of the lotus feet of a pure devotee.

Prabhupada: That's all.

(Srila Prabhupada Morning Walk, Melbourne, April 26, 1976) "My Guru Maharaja used to say that there is no scarcity of anything in this world, save and except Krishna Consciousness. Keep your present attitude, intact; have good faith in your Spiritual Master and Krishna and everything will be all right. You have already taken this secret of success, sincerity, and pull on with that mentality. And Krishna will give you all help.

You write to say, 'I really miss Swamiji and my God-brothers' association so much.' But I may remind you that I am always with you. And so wherever I am there, and you are there, all your God-brothers are there. Please remember always the humble teachings that you have received from me, and that will make you always associated with me, and with your other God-brothers." (Srila Prabhupada Letter, August 24, 1968)
